Koena Mitra slams Sonam Kapoor for giving ‘communal twist’ to Kathua rape case! Here’s what she said

Koena Mitra is irked by Sonam Kapoor's post condemning brutal gangrape and murder of an 8-year-old in Kathua.

Recently, the entire Bollywood stood up in solidarity of the Kathua rape case victim, who was brutally gangraped and murdered inside a temple. Voicing her opinion on the same, Sonam Kapoor wrote on social media, “I am Hindustan, I am ashamed #justiceforourchild 8 years old gangraped, murdered in ‘devi’-sthan temple #kathua”.

Not only Sonam Kapoor, but many Bollywood celebrities including Kareena Kapoor voiced their opinions on the brutal Kathua rape case and even condemned the sordid crime. However, Koena Mitra was one of few who got irked by the celebrities’ stand on the infamous rape case. She was pissed by this selective outrage in the country on this particular case while forsaking the others that are happening everyday. In her tweet, Mitra blasted Sonam Kapoor with some questions.

She wrote, “Any comments @sonamakapoor? You condemded a heinous crime(I appreciate) but gave it a communal twist "Fake Hindus " .

Kindly do the same for all . How can you blame an entire religion for this Rape.

These victims are ours too! #justiceForAll “

Koena did appreciate the fact that Sonam along with other Bollywood celebrities came out in support. But she criticised the actress and the others among the lot for neglecting other cases. She mentioned other cases that happened in the recent while but weren’t hyped much in the media and film industry.

8 Things Every Woman Should Never Ever Forget

You are the daughter, the sister, the girlfriend, the friend, the career woman, the wife, the mother and amongst the many hats that you wear what you often forget to tell yourself is that YOU are YOU first. To give and to nurture is a part of a woman's 'being' and so is to love. However, what we often tend to ignore is that LOVE starts with SELF.

Here are a few simple ways for you to nurture your own joyous self!

1. It may sound silly but it works...

Spend a min in front of the mirror every day and tell yourself – "I love myself, I accept myself".

2. Stop being judgmental about your own self.

Give yourself some breathing space – you may not be perfect, and you must know no one else is! Accept your flaws, mark the areas of improvement and work on it without having to crib, sulk or criticize yourself for it.

3. Never be callous about your mind or your body.

Learn to appreciate your own body, respect it enough to ensure you find time to exercise, detox, be in nature, go for some fun escapes, do yoga or any form of meditation. Feel alive and in touch with the earth and nature, it will help boost your life force energy. Remember You are 'the' woman, you have the ability to create and pro – create and hence it is important for you to keep your mind, body and soul happy.

4. Express – Learn to express your needs – emotional, mental, physical.

Suppressing your needs will only make you an unhappy soul dragging herself to fulfil her duties towards others. If you need something that is vital for your survival or your happiness, say it and find ways to work around it so that you can treat yourself to joys that you deserve.

5. Beware of Exhaustion

Caught up in the daily chores of life, women usually let exhaustion build up to an extent that it starts to take a toll on the mental and physical wellbeing. Don't ruin yourself trying to be a SUPERWOMAN always… you are human. It is okay for the SUPERWOMAN to want to rest and relax. Get ample sleep and try to find ways to make it a relaxing sleep.

6. Spend some time in peace.

Most of us have more than enough on our plate, it is usually enough for anyone to go bonkers and therefore it is important to spend quiet time. Quiet time doesn't mean absolute silence but it is just about that time where in you do things that bring you inner peace. Take 15 – 20 minutes' break in a day to read, listen to music, or whatever that it takes for you to tune out of the regular rut.

7. Do ensure that you don't confine yourself to the same routine, same people and same schedules.

Find ways to break the monotony – go to new places, explore, meet new people, find something new or something different. It helps to keep the zing alive!

8. Last but not least, without being extravagant – try to pamper yourself once in a while.

Find those days in the month when you can eat what you crave for, shop, go for a spa or wear what you want… Look good – eat good – feel good…

Live: Sridevi Last Rites, Sridevi Funeral News and Updates

बॉलीवुड की पहली लेडी सुपरस्टार श्रीदेवी का आज दोपहर 3.30 बजे अंतिम संस्कार किया जाएगा. अंतिम दर्शन के लिए उनका पार्थिव शरीर अंधेरी के सेलिब्रेशन स्पोर्ट्स क्लब में रखा गया है और वहीं से दोपहर दो बजे उनकी अंतिम यात्रा शुरू होगी. अंधेरी स्थित सेलिब्रेशन स्पोर्ट्स से विले पार्ले की दूरी 7.50 किलोमीटर है. श्रीदेवी का अंतिम संस्कार विले पार्ले के श्मशान घाट में किया जाएगा.

उनके निधन से पूरा माहौल ग़मगीन है हर तरफ मातमी सन्नाटा पसरा हुआ है. अंतिम दर्शन के लिए बड़ी संख्या में फैन्स का जमावड़ा लगा हुआ है. आपको बता दें कि उनके निधन के तीसरे दिन कल यानी मंगलवार रात उनका पार्थिव शरीर दुबई से मुंबई पहुंचा. श्रीदेवी की फोरेंसिक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक उनका निधन 'एक्सीडेंटल ड्राउनिंग' यानी 'दुर्घटनावश डूबने' से हुआ.

09.40 AM: करण जौहर, उर्वशी रौतेला, ठाकरे परिवार और अरबाज़ ख़ान अंतिम दर्शन के लिए पहुंचे.

09.30 AM: सेलिब्रेशन स्पोर्ट्स क्लब में श्रीदेवी का अंतिम दर्शन शुरू हो गया है. दर्शन के लिए आमो-खास का तांता लग गया है. अलग-अलग गेटों से सेलिब्रिटीज़ और आम लोगों को एंट्री दी जा रही है.

09.10 AM: सेलिब्रेशन स्पोर्ट्स क्लब में श्रीदेवी के अंतिम दर्शन के लिए दो गेट्स बनाए गए हैं. एक से सेलिब्रिटीज़ और दूसरे से आम लोगों को एंट्री दी जाएगी.

09.00 AM: आखिरी दर्शन के लिए अंधेरी के सेलिब्रेशन स्पोर्ट्स क्लब पहुंचा श्रीदेवी का पार्थिव शरीर, परिवार के लोग मौजूद

08.30 AM: सुबह 9.30 बजे से दोपहर 12.30 बजे तक श्रीदेवी के अंतिम दर्शन के लिए उनके पार्थिव शरीर को मुंबई के अंधेरी स्थित सेलिब्रेशन स्पोर्ट्स क्लब में रखा जाएगा. यह जगह श्रीदेवी के घर से महज 100 मीटर की दूरी पर है. इसके बाद दोपहर 2 बजे अंधेरी स्थित सेलिब्रेशन स्पोर्ट्स क्लब से अंतिम यात्रा निकाली जाएगी, जो विले पार्ले के पवन हंस क्रीमेटॉरियम तक जाएगी. वहीं उनका अंतिम संस्कार दोपहर 3:30 बजे किया जाएगा. अंधेरी स्थित सेलिब्रेशन स्पोर्ट्स क्लब से विले पार्ले सेवा समाज शमशान घाट की दूरी करीब 6.50 किलोमीटर है.

08.25 AM: श्रीदेवी के घर पर रविवार से ही बॉलीवुड के बड़े सितारों का आना जाना लगा है. कल उनका पार्थिव शरीर मुंबई आने के बाद सलमान खान भी उनके घर पहुंचे.

बता दें कि श्रीदेवी का शनिवार की रात को दुबई के एक होटल में निधन हो गया था. ये अभिनेत्री वहां फैमिली वेडिंग में शामिल होने गई थीं. उनकी मौत की खबर सुनकर फैंस सहित पूरा बॉलीवुड गम में डूबा हुआ है.

Sridevi Death Report: Forensic Tests Say Cause Of Sridevi's Death "Accidental Drowning"

Actor Sridevi died of "accidental drowning", a forensic report has said, Dubai newspapers reported on Monday evening. Sridevi, 54, died suddenly in Dubai on Saturday night of a cardiac arrest, leaving Bollywood in deep shock and millions of fans heartbroken. She collapsed in her hotel room in Dubai, where she had gone with husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi for a family wedding.

An autopsy was conducted earlier today and the police have handed the report over to the family and the Indian consulate, news agency ANI reported.

The Khaleej Times quoted family sources to report that Boney Kapoor, waiting to take Sridevi out to dinner, found her motionless in the bathtub of her room at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers. Boney Kapoor, a filmmaker, had returned to Mumbai with their daughter but had flown back to Dubai reportedly to surprise his wife.

A medical team failed to revive her. The family said Sridevi did not have any history of heart ailments.

The family waited all of Sunday but Sridevi's body was not handed over to them as UAE authorities carried out an autopsy. In a statement last evening, the family said the actor's body will arrive in Mumbai today.

Sridevi had gone along with husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi for a family wedding.

According to reports, industrialist Anil Ambani has offered to fly Sridevi's body back in a private jet.

The Indian film fraternity has been shaken by the unexpected tragedy. Hundreds have gathered outside Sridevi's Mumbai home, hoping for a final glimpse.

Several planned events were cancelled. Actress Shabana Azmi posted a tweet announcing that she and husband Javed Akhtar were calling off the grand Holi party they host every year. Several film shoots have also been cancelled.

A stream of stars, former co-stars and others were seen at the house of Anil Kapoor, the younger brother of Boney Kapoor.

Southern superstars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have headed to Mumbai to pay their respects to Sridevi.

Since the news of her death, Sridevi's last videos at the wedding of her nephew Mohit Marwah have been widely shared and snapshots of her life and films have been all over the media.

Sridevi began working at the age of four and, in a career spanning five decades, acted in 300 films.

The gorgeous actor, often described as India's one and only female superstar and the queen of the 1990s, was best known for her roles in "Sadma", "Lamhe" "Mr India", "Chandni" and "Himmatwala". A versatile actor known for her impeccable comic timing, she reigned over not just Bollywood, but also the Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industry.

After a 15-year break following her marriage to Boney Kapoor, a much leaner Sridevi made a smashing comeback with the 2012 film "English Vinglish". She followed it up with the thriller "Mom".

Sridevi died before she could see her older daughter Jhanvi's debut in films this year.

Twitter goes berserk after Salman says he has found a girl

Bollywood star Salman Khan is famous for sending out cryptic tweets that most of his followers hardly ever understand. The Tiger Zinda Hai actor today once again posted a strange tweet that Twitter just couldn't handle.

Salman tweeted that "he has found a girl" and the twitter went into an overdrive to interpret what the star meant, till he finally clarified.

And here's how Twitter had a meltdown.

Condom brand Durex too chipped in with a 'tongue in cheek' congratulatory reply.

But everyone's prediction turned out to be wrong as Salman finally revealed that he was talking about co-star Warina for his brother-in-law Ayush Sharma's debut film.
